The Village of Southampton's main beach, Cooper Beach, offers chair and umbrella rentals for $10 each per day, concessions, restrooms, showers, and lifeguards. Sagg Main Beach, located on Sagg Main Road in Sagaponack, has 1,500 feet of ocean beaches along with showers, an overlook platform, picnic tables, and volleyball courts. Mecox Beach, situated on Jobs Lane in Bridgehampton, offers 250 feet of beachfront on the Atlantic. Amenities include showers, volleyball courts, a sun deck, and an overlook platform.
At Foster Memorial Beach (Long Beach) on Long Beach Road in Noyac, visitors who rent Hamptons NY accommodations can enjoy a mile of beachfront on Peconic Bay. The Suffolk County Parks Department manages four other parks in the area. Cupsogue Beach, on Dune Road in Westhampton, offers Atlantic Ocean beachfront and off-road vehicle access. At Sears Bellows on Bellows Terrace Road in Hampton Bays, guests of rental houses in the Hamptons can enjoy fresh water swimming in Bellows Pond as well as fishing, rowing, hiking, bicycling, hunting, and horseback riding. Meschutt Beach County Park (631-854-4949), near the Shinnecock Canal in Hampton Bays, offers swimming on calm Peconic Bay along with picnic areas, volleyball, off-season fishing, and food concessions.

East Hampton rentals and Montauk rental houses are convenient to Kirk Park Beach on the Montauk Highway. This East Hampton beach offers an ocean beach, picnic areas, restrooms, and public parking.

Guests of Hamptons rentals can also enjoy oceanfront beaches at several state parks, including Hither Hills State Park on the Old Montauk Highway (631-668-7600), which features two and a half miles of prime beachfront with lifeguards, great surfcasting, picnic areas, hiking trails, and a 40-acre lake for freshwater fishing. Shadmoor State Park (631-669-1000), located at the southwest corner of Route 27 and Seaside Avenue, offers 2,400 feet of ocean beach, freshwater wetlands, hiking trails, and elevated platforms for bird watching.
Atlantic Avenue Beach, situated at the end of Atlantic Avenue off Route 27, is a good choice for visitors staying in an Amagansett vacation rental. Other Amagansett area beaches include Alberts Landing Beach, located on Gardiner's Bay at the end of Alberts Landing Road off Old Stone Highway, and Indian Wells Beach, on the Atlantic Ocean at the end of Indian Wells Plain Highway off Route 27.
